Welcome to the RAAS Puzzles of the Month Challenge!
So what is RAAS POTM?
The Puzzles of the Month Challenge at the Royal Alexandra & Albert School consists of monthly Key Stage 3 and 4 quizzes, which are started during one form tutor period a month.
It is then up to the students as to whether they complete the quiz, and then submit it to us by either posting it into one of the "Quiz of the Month" boxes located outside MA1 and MA5, OR sending a completed digital copy to "PuzzlesoftheMonth@Gatton-Park.org.uk", with the subject of the email in the format of "Key Stage # | Month Year Quiz | Your Name"

After the student-lead POTM team have received all of the entries (after the closing date for that quiz series), they will mark and judge all of the entries, and then a few winners will be picked. As this is a whole Key Stage challenge, the oldest year group does have an advantage over the youngest year group. However, to mitigate this we have decided that the prizes will not be rewarded purely on the final result, but also on the presentation and working out from the student, amongst other factors.
Students are allowed to use calculators and have no fixed time limit to spend on it, but must submit it by the closing date found on the quiz. Any entries submitted after the closing date may not be marked and entered into the prize draw.
